Has anyone traveled to Europe lately and can offer some advice when traveling on a budget? I'm looking for any tips or recommendations for accommodations, euro rail pass...

The euro rail pass is amazing! Use the Deutsche bahn website (there's an English version) for all your train trip planning. They even has train schedules for countries other than Germany. Some trains require a seat reservation though especially if it's during rush hour or a really long trip or something. Making seat reservation isn't too expensive like around 10-20 euro one way. Car rentals are expensive and you might need an international drivers license depending on the policies of your rental company. Public transportation in all those areas are excellent though so you won't have trouble getting around. Food in my opinion is cheaper there than here especially if you stick to the markets and cafes. Hope this helps! We lived over there for a few years and loved it:)
Anyone have any ideas for car rental in Molokai? Crazy expensive from what I can tell. Just one day rental. Thanks.
Heather T. replied:
I used Molokai Car Rentals a couple years ago. Not sure if they are still open. They were cheap and pick up and drop off at the airport but they closed early so we had to be at the airport several hours before our flight out.
