Brandon, I like Dr. Goodyear in Keller. He is the only dentist who seems to have reasonable charges AND a reasonable approach to dental care. 817-741-7000. I can tell you more about how he compares to other dentists (I've been to four in the last 10 yrs) if you PM me.

My dentist is Bluestone Family Dental in Keller and they offer after-business hour-appointments.. Not sure about what insurances they accept or the amount of money you consider an arm and a leg, but I've been told Keller teachers go there so they'd be worth looking into maybe.

But whatever you do, GET THEE TO A DENTIST! Dental care IS one of those areas where something simple can become something bad if left untended. A small cavity becomes a large one; then a large cavity becomes too big and requires a crown, then the damage goes deeper if not crowned and it becomes a root canal. From a $150 filling to a $1200 root canal . . . yep, you need to go!

You don't want to have to get a root canal!! Get in soon. Dr. Chu in Grapevine is great & will work on payment with you. Very reasonable.

I second on Dr. Dix on 1709....I went there all my life...very kind people and the dentist will discuss options and what he will do and what it will cost before he does it...I also got put on a payment plan...they basically let me pay anything I could for a long time til it was finished

Kathy one of my parents was amazed that i had to pay $1000 out of pocket on top of my my insurance last year for a root canal and crown. he ssid he got the ssme thing done for $400 total st Apex Clinic on 1445 McArthur Drive...carollton i think. 972 245 1200

Be very careful at a dental college. Remember what I do for a living and know that I have heard some horror stories. If you choose that route, be sure to take an advocate with you who will speak up. I had mine done several years ago in Arlington by Dr. Paris on Green Oaks. He was great. If you have health insurance check to see if oral care is covered. Mine was but it took some research. Good luck.
