I have a 14 year old daughter who loves to try new foods from other cultures. Does anyone have recommendations for places (restaurants) nearby? I'm especially looking...
Kathy P. replied:
Tandoori Flame is pretty decent for entry level Indian food, lots to choose from. There is one on Dixie and Orenda in Brampton and another one in Mississauga at Mavis and Brittania.

Paramount is Mediterranean cuisine. Bombay Behl is really good! The Indian restaurant here in town is good too!
Lisa M. replied:
Namaste MoMo (in Booster Juice plaza) across from McDonalds has the best Indian food around. I recommend the butter chicken with garlic naan and a side order of rice.

Another good option for Indian is The Host(Mississauga)
Chantelle B. replied:
Try Tandoori Flame at Mavis/Britannia. It's buffet style and very good/authentic
Hawley D. replied:
Kathy Peschell, sounds excellent. I didn't know there was authentic Mexican so close by, I thought maybe Moroccan, and what about hibachi? Any suggestions?

I go to Daal Roti in Mississauga on my lunch often and it is so yummy. They just moved and havn't been to their new location. They do buffet and I'm told their food is very authentic. http://daalroti.ca/
