Amsterdam Brewery on Queens Quay is easy to get too and good beer if you and your husband enjoy craft beer at all

Bottom Line on Front St, just west of Yonge St. It's like a classy sports bar. Good food. Casual enough to wear jeans but can go dressier too. Reasonable prices. My fave Toronto restaurant.

Anyone know what they're building in the plaza beside Michael's and Sportschek? Looks like a restaurant. Lone star??
Michelle M. replied:
I would be happier if it was petsmart, but Milton is filled with some great small pet stores like Muttlife that can't be beat. I remember reading it at the same time I read about lonestar, but it could be wrong. I saw plans for petsmart on the other side of the highway but it was older. http://www.riocan.com/docs/default-source/default-document-library/riocancentremilton_miltonon.pdf?sfvrsn=0

Kenneth R Fretz where was the sign you are referring to. this one was inside the restaurant near the kitchen....but we owned the restaurant in the 70 s and 80 s.
Kitsa S. replied:
Dave Martin Eva Miller is my sister, our parents owned Surellas.
ALfer T. replied:
The sign that I am talking about Kenneth R Fretz is the same you are thinking about. When we use to do that it was hung out in front of the store on a horizontal pole above the front door over the sidewalk on Erie Rd. They took it in every season when the village closed up for the winter. We looked forward to it being back again every spring. And yes Ken I have seen the same stunt by some one with a little too much liquid stupid in the blood also,,,,,lol

Is there a really good "authentic" BBQ/Smokehouse restaurant in Milton or close?
Brad B. replied:
Memphis BBQ on Bronte in the La Rose Plaza. They smoke their meat, and they've won awards.
Brad B. replied:
Try Memphis BBQ and let us know what you think... my go-to there is the original smoke wings.
Chris C. replied:
And there's always Hungry Hollow in Georgetown
Marni B. replied:
Memphis BBQ ROCKS!
Brad B. replied:
The absolute best BBQ I've ever had is in Collingwood at a place called The Smoke. It costs a fortune and you leave there needing a nap, but my god it is delicious!
Hey! I'm looking for Milton restaurant recommendations for a group of 10 please! Possibly a place that has live entertainment too.
Robin G. replied:
If you're looking for more of a fine dining experience I would recommend Marquee Steakhouse & Piano Lounge. If you are looking for more casual, The Rad Brothers Sports Bar and Tap House has great food and often has live entertainment as well.
Janet R. replied:
Rad Brothers has live entertainment every Saturday night!!

Does anyone know if Brunello's restaurant closed? I drove past there and the windows are covered in paper, and the sign is down. I'm hoping they are just renovating.
