David McNabb C&R was just here, it is the transmission, about $250 to fix...mentioned I needed a new garbage disposal installed, he looked at my current one and hit the reset button and is all good. Now i gotta return the one that I bought to replace it...

Thanks, Donna Segletes Kay. There is some plastic seal or drip guard that is attached to the drum that has completely come off and fallen to pieces. I talked to C & R Appliance Repair and they said by the time they fix it I might as well buy a new washer.:'-(
