Dr. Mulet was the #1 recommended to me from everyone I know. We ended up at Ponchartrain Pediatrics, though, because of our insurance, with Dr. Mary Gioe. And we love her & her staff. I also love that they have totally separate rooms for the sick kids!

I spelled it wrong - Dr. Mula at Fairway like Cory said above is the doctor I meant. But I didn't like how their sick "area" was awfully opened right into the well "area". And I hear because they're in such high demand you often don't get to actually SEE your doctor. But, when you do, I hear it's awesome

Jill Fitzpatrick with Oschner pediatrics. Office is in Lakeview hospital which is nice if you ever have to stay overnight. She is wonderful! Kind. Sensitive. Supportive. Can't say enough good about her. I asked her to move to TX with us but she didn't.

I use Dr. Leumas or Dr. Westmoreland. They're in the same office as Dr. Hickey. They're older (they were my odds) but I like older peds! I've seen Dr. Fritz a couple times for minor things when she was my only option but not sure if I'd use her as my regular ped. You'd have to make your own judgment, though. She was nice, but I like old school. Lol.
