Can anyone recommend a local dog sitting service? It's only for a couple of days (Thursday 7th April to Saturday 9th April). Would prefer to have dogs stay in a home...

Will recommend Stony Vets. Looked after my cats for 25 years.

I'd stick with Heath & Reach, especially as Sam Allwork will be based there in a few months time. We will be taking our dog there (except for vacations as we have vacs4 life at Vets4Pets)
Janet B. replied:
I do not recommend Stony vets for cats as there is no where to keep them away from dogs when you visit.Very distressing for the cat.Cherry lane is better with very sympathetic staff
Sarah G. replied:
Cherry Lane is great for accessibility (easy parking, routine appointments 7 days as mentioned already). Luckily we haven't had to use them much but they've been able to see us very quickly when we have, and being able to get routine vaccinations etc done at a weekend is great. All the people we've met there have been lovely.

Does anyone know who is in charge of the forest lodge kennels?
Claire L. replied:
Brian Bassom John Seymour Katie Perry can you point Shaun Beatty in the right direction to help towards the pooches at FL? Shaun - I do a lot of collections of food, bedding etc for them. That's always needed but one of the main things is advertising to get the dogs new homes or try to find rescues for those who need extra care if the local ones are full.
Claire L. replied:
Maxicare yes are very good as they are the rescue back up for FL but I try what I can with FL as they are more local to me and it's where I got my old boy. Join dogs dinner Facebook group. I advertise the dogs on there when I can do you can share the posts.
