Circumcision is not a cure for phymosis. Please please please look into the treatment options a little more before making this decision that is life altering for boys. If it is a decision you have already made please look into the different types of circumcision (low and loose or high and tight for instance) and methods used. Maybe get into drmomna.org or savingsons.org or the saving sons Facebook page for info you might miss out on from a doctor that could be pro circ in the first place. Hugs to you, this cannot be easy. Shame, my youngest had it. It's horrid, so I feel for you. We saw multiple paediatricians and dieticians in the UK. My son ended up on Omeprazole/Losec and a horrid amino acid based formula as he also had a cow's milk protein allergy which often goes hand in hand with silent reflux. We tried homeopathic stuff, Infacol, Colief, cranial osteopath, the list goes on. The only thing that helped was Omeprazole. In the UK only paediatricians can prescribe it but you might not need it. It all depends on the severity of the reflux. There are various tips and tricks for reflux babies ie keep them upright for 30 min after each feed, elevate the cot mattress etc. There's a brilliant book by Alison Scott Wright called The Sensational Baby Sleep Plan. There's a whole chapter on reflux which helped me a lot. You're more than welcome to borrow it as I've still got my copy. My little one grew out of it around 12 months and he's the cheekiest 2 1/2 year old now who loves food esp dairy. More than happy to chat if you've got any questions.

Understanding that it's okay to have depression. Especially in Zimbabwe just now. I eat what my body tells me to. When my body says rest I rest. I make sure I'm okay before I help others. If my "fuel tank" is half empty I'm no good to anyone. I totally agree with Erin Sticklen to get checked out to see IF medicines are needed. Some psychs will meet you several times before deciding whether to put you on medicines. Ones that hear what you say and ask will let you talk through your fears of being on medicines. For some of us it can be frustrating to be on medicines life long. There's hope. Some doctors Do Listen to us. My medicines have been reduced lately. But I've had this a long time and know when I need my doctor and when I need my medicines. I don't mess about with it.

There is an amazing therapist at Dr Cowper's rooms. Her name is Margie. She is lovely. She also does not cost a fortune and you can claim from medical aid. She cannot prescribe drugs but she is very good. Maybe that's something to try? (Speaking from experience here - she was so helpful with my anxiety and hectic panic attacks)

I had the same problem. I changed the whole cable thinking there was a fault on the cable. I went through plenty capacitors. I thought maybe it was overheating so I modified it. Then I gave it to get serviced by one guy. The ball bearings were finished. So there was a lot of vibrations and stress on the motor. That's why the capacitor kept blowing. I would like to advise you to see a doctor here however if the doctors want to cut it out and depending on where it is situated I would make a trip to umhlanga to see a skin specialist called Dr Mel. I had two cancerous spots one by my eye and another on my ear. The doctors here wanted to cut half my ear off and cut under my eye after seeking a 2 nd option I went to Dr Mel and had a break through treatment that nobody does. 3 years later and I am all clear. I had daily injections into the eye of the cancer for 10 days. No scars
