Computer says Dr. Gonzalez hospitals are Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen and Valley Regional in Brownsville.

there is a SPI Clinic on the Island and there's also a Dr's office which makes house calls on the Island.....I don't know his name but his office is on PadreBlvd.

We were not satisfied with the SPI Clinic. Never could see a doctor; just PA's and such. Sometimes nobody there except receptionist. If further tests were needed, he always sent us to Brownsville and all of our other docs are in Harlingen and we prefer Harlingen. Changed to Laguna Vista.

We just started with Dr. Gonzalez in Laguna Vista, near Bay B Boomers. Very thorough and nice. Did not have to wait. Nice nurses. Some of our Zumba friends have been going there for a while and like him a lot.

Dr. Posada at the Harlingen Senior clinic - sees patients of all ages. Don't give up on PAs however as many are better and more thorough than the doctors.

We have been to PI clinic several times. I agree Jessica Baker, Greg Luna is fantastic! I always prefer and recommend seeing PAs instead of a doctor, if your condition is not serious. I worked in the medical field, and have experience working with both - the PAs were exemplary. As for the clinic, you can spend a few hours there, but everyone is nice and capable. Melissa Smallman, I had a different experience than you - a few days after lab work a few weeks ago, the clinic called to tell me Mr. Luna said my labs were normal. I like the place because it is convenient, and our experiences have been positive.

I adore Dr. Julio Savinon in Harlingen. His office sits in front of the Harlingen Hospital. He is a good listener and anxious to address any concerns. I have been seeing him for 3 years...he is my primary care physician. There is a lab in the same office building when you need labs ordered. I have needed to visit him many times (LOL) and he has never failed me ...and I'm a complicated patient...I didn't say difficult...I said complicated...haha. I had an MRI on Friday at Harlingen Imaging and Dr. Savinon's nurse called today with results!!! That was almost too quick. I hope you find someone you like.
