Sue L. replied:
Jake, what county do you live in? The medicaid website does not list that some offices are county restricted. Medicaid does cover most services for adults now. Call the 519-9901 number early in the morning and if they can't get you in, they can give you numbers to offices that take medicaid for your county.

Laura Tippy Olmsted is right I found out about it in aug. and didn't get my first appt. till oct. 31, slowly but surely i'm getting my teeth fixed and recunstructed. Alot of people obviously don't know this yet but us adults on state medical card can now take care of our dental problems, thank god and shame on the state of Il. for taking it for two years away from us because dental is most important to a persons health.
Cheryl T. replied:
Shawnee dental in Carbondale and ich dental in Marion. They only book new patients 2 weeks in advance. You would have to call everyday at 7:30 am to try to get one of the few new patient appointment slots. They are county restricted to Williamson and Jackson county patients only.
