My dog has developed seasonal allergies and we go to east Surburban hospital and they prescribe and it clears right up. Always had great experience there.

Dr Tucker in murrysville has always been great for us. Pit I see? Have you tried grain free food? Introduce and maintain daily fish oil tablets, like you or I would take. Wash everything the dog touches in "all free and clear", clothing, sheets, etc etc. Ive been down this road as many others have too, pits are very well known allergy dogs

It’s not exactly in the area, but Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Care (PVSEC) are truly a professional organization. Hands down the best I’ve been to even though it didn’t work out in the end. They have a location in Washington and the North Hills.

East Suburban Animal Hospital! Took us in as an emergency earlier in the week. Wonderful staff! They’re open 7 days a week with limited Sunday hours. They didn’t even mind when i called several times the next two days (haven’t called them today!). Felt they were reasonably priced

Both Drs. Pope and Dinger are wonderful. I can't say enough about how Dr. Pope and his tech handled my deceased dog (and me) when he was euthanized, and they're so patient w my shepherd who is a huge baby when he goes.

I have taken my dog to avet three times. All three times it was $300 to walk in. The last time, my dog was seriously hurt... paralyzed. She couldn’t move, but they muzzled her when she could barely breathe and told me she was paralyzed and there’s nothing they could do, I could put her down or I could go to Pittsburgh veterinary specialty and emergency center. We were in Avets for 10 minutes, and it cost me $350. PVsec is amazing with my dog, cost less there per day, staff spent time in her crate on their lunch breaks, she had a specialty team with different kinds of doctors working with her, they rolled her outside when she could not walk to enjoy the sunshine multiple times a day. A year later my dog is running and no one would know there was anything wrong with her. I literally hate Avets. The staff was rude during an emergency, what is not caring with my Pat, did not offer to do anything and still charged us nearly $400. I will absolutely never take my dog there again of less it is the most dire Of emergency.I will make the drive to Pittsburgh every. single. time

Recommend signing up for. The Care Credit. Did mine right on my phone on their link. Much easier than putting a large amount on credit card paying the interest rates. Good luck We had a Shepard get sick. Went to Avets. They saved her life though it was expensive. They failed to mention the care credit option.

I like White Oak vet. If you need to see a vet its $49 for the visit. Last my dog needed was a shot that the tech could do so I only got charged for the shot.

I've heard several bad things about 4 paws, i wouldn't go there. I'm happy with East Suburban Animal Hospital as well.
