Dr. Korn in New Britain is great. He always reminds me of the elf in Rudolph who wanted to be a dentist and he's super gentle and patient with us wimpy-types.
Helder M. replied:
Re: the Best Smiles 'rude' question. It actually has more to do with her as a business person/landlord. She rents out the top apartment in her building as well as some parking spaces to tenants of other buildings. My girlfriend rented one of those spaces and had some frustrating interactions with her. For example; the agreement was that the car had to be out of the lot by a certain hour (I believe it was 8). This wasn't an issue for my gf to wake up and move the car. However, one of the first few weeks she was renting from her, she was about 5 minutes late into moving the car. As she was approaching her car, Ms. Best came out of the office with mobile to her ear, saying that she had just called the towing company. Other instances deal with her treatment of a single mother she rented the apartment to, which deals with invasion of privacy (such as letting herself into the apartment).
Nichole G. replied:
Thanks everyone. I'm going to Robin Santiago on Monday. Unless I can find someone that will see me tomorrow, because my ear is popping now due to the toothache.
Helder M. replied:
Yeah, those are the two examples that are on the tip of my tongue; my girlfriend could tell more and in detail. She knows the single mom that was renting from her; she couldn't wait to get out of the lease because of how unbearable Ms. Best made it. When it came to getting out of the parking arrangement, Best did not make it easy for my gf. Just seems like a very unprofessional individual. And I don't any worth in the "Best of" blurbs she brags about.
