I'm looking for recommendations for a gas central heating fitter in the area. They would need to be Corgi registered and whatnot.

Mike Tree is an experienced plumber and gas safe registered. He's recently started out as self employed but has years of experience. He's very good, reasonable and fair. MST Plumbing... I'll find you his number.:-)

Ask Barry Herbert at Thorcraft up on Ivyhouse. He knows all the best and most reliable tradesmen.
Have a look at Rointe and Elnur electric heaters. We're about to install them in a renovation in the Old Town that has no gas. Very efficient and give a constant heat. As good as central heating we've been told.
