Can anyone recommend a resort and hotel in Turkey for an October holiday

If you want to stay right on a beach in the middle of nowhere then this is the place to go - i went in 2002 and it was absolutely lovely but you have to go independently so a bit of a drag but it is beautiful, unspoiled and the beach, village, local people, welcome, boat trips, horse riding is great http://www.cavus-bay.com/where%20 to%20 stay.htmlhttp://www.jonnyturk.com/activities.htm
Trudy this is where we went in July, just stunning especially if you want to relax http://www.exclusiveescapes.co.uk/properties/the-dionysos-estate#y=2013&ap=2&s=1

I am looking at Lara Beach, Antalya as it seems to be warmest place, beautiful beach and Marina. Trip Advisor speaks well of this area. Many 5* 4* hotels. Again Trip Advisor has many good reviews.

Helen, when we use to go down to Brighton we always stayed at the Pelirocco hotel . Back in the day it was the rock and roll hotel. Check it out if it is still there. Love Simon and Minixxxxxxxxxx
