Buy a cheap tripod at Walmart and your camera with timer, your good to go...pictures outside are the best for lighting..natural (in the spring -summer-fall). But for now inside is fine like your friend Lori stated. Be careful of the lighting. I use Snap fish.com to fix my pictures on -line or Walmart is good also.
