I've always said that the Healdsburg Performing Arts Center should put on a first class event. Close off North St. Limos everywhere....Fashion galore. Sky Walker Lights.....raffle bets on who will win....all for the charitable cause of the Theatre.
Any local restaurants with good gluten free options?:) thank you!

Not sure any place will ever be as good as Cafe Europe (which is the place I believe you are referring to)! Not helpful, I know, but my family and I enjoyed many meals there and miss it tremendously so I had to chime in. Sadly, one of the owners just passed away also. Unfortunately haven't found anything in Sonoma County that compares as of yet.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. This inquiry was for a friend who's birthday is today and I asked her where she'd like to go for dinner. I'm sad about Cafe Europe too! Great people, great food! She doesn't want to travel far so we're going to have to decide on another cuisine.

If you are ok with a bit of a gorgeous drive I'd suggest booking a lunch or dinner at the Culinary Institute of America up there. It's a fascinating place, beautiful restaurant and an experience you won't forget.

Stop by Battaglini in Santa Rosa on Piner Road. They specialize in Zin but have a few whites. Not the touristy stop of the others. Here is a link http://www.battagliniwines.com/Battaglini/Battaglini_Wines_Home.html tell them I send you. I worked with their son at Parkway in SSF., which is their hometown. Say hi to Joe and Lucy!

Kendell Jackson has an AWESOME Wine and Food pairing. The little town of Windsor has GREAT restaurants. Between Windsor and Healdsburg you won't have time to cook nor would you want to. We'll be there on the 30 th for 3 days and We've already ran out of time and we're not even there yet. Oh, a must do: The Healdsburg Segway tour SUPER FUN. check out Groupon. . I believe they have a special.
