My daughter has danced at Corky Bell for 10 years...great people...corkybelldance.com....we use Dr Anglin in Hoover for my kids dentist and alabaster pediatrics. Helena is a great town and the schools are great too!! (My kids are 13 & 10!)

Welcome! I have used Dr Anne Byars as my kids pediatrician for years. She's at Southlake pediatric in Inverness. Love her!! We live in the new area of Old Cahaba. Really enjoy it.

Welcome to the area Louise. There is a lot to do in there area. Dance Ect.for dance there is a dog park in alabaster, the buck creek festival I think is may 9&10 that's a lot of fun. Oak Mt state park, Pelham has a ice skating ring perfect for hot summer days. Helena has fri night movies. Hang out at buck creek park.

Louise, we use Alabaster Pediatric Dentistry for our children's dentist. It's only about 10 mins from Helena. We use Dr. Mike Anglin for a pediatric dentist and love him. Find "Hewy Nosleep" on Facebook he has a daily blog about Helena. If your neighborhood does not have a pool "Gobblers Knob" or the Pelham YMCA are options. There is also A water park called Alabama Adventure about 30 min away. Helena is a great place to live. The bowling ally is Pelham has a "kids bowl free" summer program. Two local theaters have summer kids flicks movies two days a week.

I really like Dr Reed but he's way out by my office (280 hell). He's conservative in practice and generally a nice guy. Doesn't ever try to upsell unnecessary procedures which is my chief complaint about dentists.

I am exactly the same way...I had a traumatic childhood experience. I went to Dr. Albritton in Alabaster and she is wonderful, the staff is amazing. They have gone above and beyond to keep me comfortable so that I can continue treatment. I promise there is no one better, I have been to many!

Dr. Zanthos in Alabaster is my favorite ever. I am a real baby and he is wonderful. Will prescribe anti anxiety sedatives before a procedure if you wish or give you gas. Whatever makes you most comfortable.
