Philippine Wouters might be able to share some great recommendations for Amsterdam. Flip could you kindly share a tip or two with Outi? Something unique, interesting and a little hidden rather than posh and obvious
hi all, any knows any nice finnish restaurant for lunch, budget ard 10 euros ?
Joonas V. replied:
If by "Finnish restaurant" you mean Finnish cuisine, I would suggest you to try out Hotelli Helka, which is located right next to the KY building. They have a buffet lunch Monday-Friday from 11-14. http://omakaupunki.hs.fi/paakaupunkiseutu/palvelut/117361/
Joonas V. replied:
If you miss the Finnish lunch hours (typically 11-14.30 weekdays, or shorter depending on the restaurant owner), the budget will be 15-20 euros per person pretty much wherever you go for (á la carte) Finnish kitchen meals. In that price range, I would recommend going to Zetor. It is most certainly a memorable experience, as the place has a stereotypically Finnish interior design. It's a very popular place amongst foreign tourists in Helsinki. Website: http://www.zetor.net/181.html
Zetor website also available in other languages: http://www.zetor.net/

http://www.ravintolakaarna.fi/etusivu.html Kaarna also has Finnish lunch but only 'til 14.00, but most the prices are cheaper than in Zetor, I think.. Kaarna is located at Forum building Mannerheimintie..
