i use Harriet Franklin for teeth, she's fab with my horses very quiet and sensitive, shes in Bude but goes everything smile emoticon

Not on the beach I hope. I use Stephen Williams for teeth and Emma Staunton or Kate McCarthy for backs. Emma good if problem, Kate does a great all over massage and if she finds a problem, will pass advise Emma.

There's a whole process you have to go through to get a dentist here in Cornwall - it's quite unlike anything else anywhere in the country - you have to register centrally and state your preferences and if you're very fortunate they find you a dentist within a certain radius. I think there may be more details on the NHS website - it took us 2 years to get one and I think that's pretty good. Having said that Meneage Dentist in Meneage Street, Helston are very often just taking NHS patients on so worth giving them a call. No idea how they are with children I'm afraid but overall they've been pretty good with me and I really don't like going to the dentist!

The no to go on the waiting list for an nhs dentist is 01392 822348. They will ask you which areas you don't mind going to. Took a while for me to get one, but I go to the Falmouth one now and not had an probs with them

There is a huge waiting list for any NHS dentists in Helston. My friend has been on a list for 6 years! Private wise Hobson and Hirst in Penzance are very good

I got a place in 4 weeks when I applied for the nhs waiting list, I'd tell your friend to give them a ring again Shelley I'm with Helston dental and they're lovely, I'm terrified of the dentist but they were that good I had a filling without any anesthetic!!' xxxx
