Hello
New to the area, so looking for a few pointers :-)
I have three children, a 6yr old daughter and 2yr old boy girl twins.
Can anyone recommend a after school club...
Kerry P. replied:
Berkhamsted Gymnastics Club is just off the A41 in the grounds of Ashlyns School. They have after school classes for 6 year olds and a Saturday morning class for the twins. My twins are nearly 16 so can't help with any twin clubs

Aimee....come and join me at Adeyfield Community Centre on a Monday at 9.30 am for general fitness and step.....or a Friday morning at Apsley Community Centre at 9.30 am for a full aerobic and strengthening class. Both great classes with fab teachers and great group of ladies! Approx £6 per class and no fancy outfits needed
Ruth C. replied:
Yes it is a gym, but it's a very small, friendly ladies only gym. They have a good variety of classes and you can do a pay as you go £5 a class which also gives you access to the gym facilities. All the staff and ladies are friendly and we usually end up staying for a Cuppa and a natter. http://www.healthyugym.com

The one above Lloyds bank in town used to have a creche. Not sure if they still do though x
Ruth C. replied:
Healthy U ladies only gym. All the ladies are really welcoming and the instructors are friendly and helpful. Although there isn’t a crèche as such, there is a baby corner where you can keep an eye on your little one whilst you exercise. Pop along and have a look, I’m sure they won’t mind. You can buy a day pass for £5 https://www.healthyugym.com
Mandy L. replied:
I looked into this a few months ago although yet to go! I think Woodside Leisure centre has a crèche. It's not contract either.
Best gym in Hemel? Looking to take up some new classes as well. Any recommendations appreciated!

Gym group at Jarmans is alright, all classes included in the £17.99 too.
Sue A. replied:
Healty U ladies only gym. Friendly group of people and not overly busy. Advisable to book the classes in advance but can just turn up on the day and they get you in if possible. If the class is full there is always something to do in the gym. https://www.healthyugym.com/

Debra Collingwood, have a look at their website for current prices www.healthyugym.com They are very approachable, might be worth giving them a call or popping in to have a look round. Sorry I can't be more helpful. You can buy a day pass for £5 which would include a class
