Has anyone used Brown and Merry estate agents? Finding them very unprofessional
Lisa T. replied:
Try Sears in the old town, Richard is the owner. Super professional and very very helpful, tell him that I sent you! X
Glenn W. replied:
Avoid Sequence Group of estate agents. In Hemel we have Brown & Merry and Connells that are in that group. Big chain of commission hungry agents. Always best to use an independent agent such as Doyle's and Castles in Boxmoor.

We had terrible experience with David Doyle's which led to our initial house purchase falling through. Following that we offered on another house and kept chasing but never even heard a response from them. As far as I am aware the house didn't sell!

Sarah W. replied:
Clements are fantastic. David Doyle terrible.
Sarah F. replied:
Avoid David Doyle like the plague (nearly ended up taking legal action against them). Another vote for Clements and also Aubrey & Finn (Brian Finn is great).
