That isn't how it works here in London. Estate agents are all localised and will sell the whole range of properties in their local area. You can either search yourself online or you can call them up in the areas you are interested and ask what properties they have available that match your requirements.

I am using Chris Mavrikkou at the Realty Firm. He's knowledgeable, great personality, and will not do anything shady to get things done. You will soon find that many Realtors are severely under pricing their listing to cause bidding wars and then cause the house to be sold for more than its actually worth. It's very frustrating as a buyer right now..... but Chris is fantastic and will work hard for you! I'd be happy to pass his info along if you'd like it.

John DeBlock - seasoned, experienced, not cheap, but you get what you pay for (Sold my house at a 5% commission with him), works as a team so he can focus on what he needs to and his team does the overhead.
