The other aspect is you need to remember is you'll be competing with other, already established businesses who are already set up PokeStops or Gyms. Especially since Niantic has somewhat confirmed that sponsored spots are coming down the road: http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2016/07/12/niantic-ceo-confirms-sponsored-locations-are-coming-to-pokemon-go/#acc147 c137 e4 If you do set up a Pokemon-specific location (assuming you navigate the IP issues with Nintendo) you'll want to place it near other established businesses to maximize the value. (Also, as someone who technically owns their own business, my business license and fees are around $700+ a year)
