Susie, both Mike and I see Dr. John Millspaugh and his NP Tim O'Leary. They are over at Hville Medical Center. Nice staff and very efficient! Not sure about hospital privileges but hospital care has changed so much in the past years - the use of hospitalist - MDs that only see patients in the hospital, my dad who is a retired Internal Medicine MD actually likes the concept. http://www.tennesseefamilymedicine.com/Tennessee_Family_Medicine/Welcome.html

Dr. Raul Couret. He is local. He was referred to us by a doctor friend & on the first physical he caught a major misdiagnosis on Jeff which saved his life. He had been told repeatedly for years that he had mitral valve prolapse & was treated for it. Dr. Couret picked up the inconsistencies & said he had a hole in his heart. He sent him immediately to Vandy heart where it was confirmed. Doc there told Jeff that this is a rare find since he was a-symptomatic. Normally it is found in children. When it has gone undetected the only time it is discovered is as a result of a stroke. ... We STRONGLY support Dr. Couret.
