Gallatin Chikdrens Clinic. We have gone there for 20 yrs. dr. Spencer is the best but the others are fantastic too!!
Jen T. replied:
Gallatin Children's Clinic is the only way to go! We love Drs Miller and Spencer and Kastner. And, if for any reason your child ends up at Sumner Regional, they are the pediatricians that will be there, so added bonus. And, they're part of Vanderbilt so they truly are the best options.
Jen T. replied:
Ps... Gallatin Children's Clinic has three locations in our area, Station Camp Children's Clinic, Hendersonville Children's Clinic and Gallatin CC...and they're open Saturday's and Sunday's.

Is your childs life worth someone else's crazy theories?
My Pediatricians office will not see unvaccinated children. If you have young children, I would recommend...
Talia D. replied:
Vaccines are among the most effective public health interventions against infectious diseases and prevent thousands of deaths in the U.S. Each year/widespread epidemics, as you have pointed out. Not to mention the fact that some diseases have virtually been wiped off the planet by the advent of vaccines. This is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, by what is called "evidence based medicine" I.e. The scientific method. This means the most rigorous protocols including long term follow up studies proving the safety of vaccines. What's next, parents refusing newborn screening for genetic diseases that are preventable by merely changing diet or other early intervention? Parents refusing to get their sons and daughters the gardasil vaccine that can actually prevent cancer? We may eventually see more vaccines against certain cancers and other deadly diseases, hopefully, I'll be first in line. Instead we get crazies out there, claiming their child got autism from a vaccine. Lay people hear this and panic spreads, even though this is scientifically disproven and the most idiotic thing I've heard of. But some parents are not only angry their child is autistic, they are mad at the medical establishment for not having the answers as to why. (We'll get there... At least the genetic causes) What we need are better methods of educating uninformed and concerned parents, addressing fears that may be completely unfounded. Thank god for people like Jonas Salk. Www.cdc.org and www.vaccines.gov are sites where people can read the benefits of vaccines, and answer the questions they have. There is a wide body of medical literature studying this "trend" of vaccine skepticism. Too much money and time spent, that should be diverted to develop new vaccines!! Stu don't even get me started

We are military so Tricare. I took my son to TN pediatrics and he was always sick on my doctors day off and it was such a pain to deal with insurance. I had the blonde doctor, forgot her name and she was good but I still prefer Children's Clinic East. I never had a bad experience as a kid, other than shots:/Hope you find a doctor you love!
Summit Hospital is in Hermitage. It depends on which side of Antioch you are. If you are in the Priest Lake side, it's not so far. But if you are in the Harding Place side it's bit of a drive. I live in Cane Ridge part of Antioch and it takes about 25 mins, but totally worth it. They are fantastic.
Had a very busy yet unproductive day! Anyone in know of a good pediatrician that won't cost me an arm and a leg to get Keaton's physical done out of pocket?
