I was happy with Affiliated Dermatologists of Virginia: Richmond Dermatology ... adov.net In my experience, most derms in the area (if not the country) schedule new patients 3 months or more into the future.

I took my son to Dr. Shinn for a few years. Good, but the wait there was horrible. I go to Dr. Victoria Gross myself....she's super sweet and I can imagine that she's wonderful with kids. Mayland Drive near Gaskins.

Dr. Victoria Gross is fantastic! She's an amazing physician and amazingly gentle with all of her patients, both young and old. I could go on and on about how much I love her!

Commonwealth Dermotology is the best. Takes a while to get in but the staff are excellent

I've done Knight and Royal both very established African American dermatologists. Royal was much more personable, explained everything in a way I could understand and discussed options. I would recommend her hands down. Not saying Knight isn't skilled but the experience at Dr. Royals place set her apart.
