Julia Verdes, I go to Zoe's in Nuremberg for cut and color and they do a fantastic job and most speak English. I haven't had balayage since I was in the US so you would have to call and ask if someone is experienced with that. Conny is the owner and does my cut and normal color and does a great job. For mani/pedi I go to Jese's and see Jenny. Speaks English perfectly. They also do hair so you can ask about balayage as well.

Hi. I can highly recommend Simon in Nuremberg.This salon is so beautiful, the treatment is exceptional, and Simon is quite the color expert! I went in with a terrible mess on my head because of a bad experience in Erlangen, and he was able to fix it one appointment. His English is great, too. Julia Verdes also Diane Noe is great and is in Lauf. I don't go to her anymore simply because I have a hard time getting there without a car.

I always go to and recommend Diana Willert in Weisendorf Ruchi. Everyone speaks good English there and are very friendly. Special mention for Steffi..

Frisör Freiheit in Fürth - ask to get an appointment with Ari.... she is hungarian, the most humble person on earth, won‘t speak english, but her boss can translate... Hair Style right by FIS in Erlangen. I walked in yesterday to make an appointment and was told that they have no appointments available. I said I didn't need an appointment today, but a couple weeks from now and they said they had no new appointments in the future!??? The other salon I tried right by the Hotel Kral as well as a hairstylist that I haven't heard back from. Not having much luck with this!!

I thought the Hair Style place near the FIS is a walk-in place--no appointment necessary. (At least that was the way it worked the last time I was there.)
