Franconian Swiss. Just drive from Forchheim to Pottenstein on the small roads (not the highway) and he will have opportunities every five minutes. Generally the huge forrest around the Przewalski horses offers a lot of possibilities. Try the hills of Marloffstein, Kalchreuth, Moritzberg and Walberla. Climb Veste Zirndorf, visit the Irrhain with the Wehrkirche Kraftshof and the castle of Neunhof with surrounding vegetable fields. There are plenty of possibilities.
