Dr. Mark Mizrachy - Hillsborough Podiatry is good. He runs. He performed surgery on my foot for a neuroma.

This was my first ever running injury 4 years ago...could not walk...honestly it was my shoes/sneakers. Road Runners put me in stability with the support insert...no more nurse clogs, or flips...literally wore the right sneakers anytime I was on my feet-at home too-went light on the running and it completely went away. I honestly healed in less than a month-never had the problem again. Same for my Achilles-RICE and only support sneakers again, layed off the speed work, completely healed in 1 month. Plantar Fasciitis can be lifelong...so I think you're smart to see someone. I'm just suggesting to wear your proper sneakers as much as possible verses light shoes that let your arch drop.

I went to Dr. Peter Wishnie in Piscataway for shin splints/custom orthotics. You may want to try him or one of the other doctors there: http://www.stopfootpainfast.com/ Also, there's a Kessler rehab facility next door that really helped me with PT and dry needling.
Does anyone in the group have a recommendation for a great podiatrist? One who is more interested in curing the underlying issue as opposed to selling ineffective...
