Dentists in Hilliard, OH

Dr. James Ford downtown has been extremely honest with me. I came to him asking for a second opinion on cavities than another dentist "found" and he told me that they were nothing to worry about. I will say though, I had wisdom teeth that were not impacted or anything, but I still developed Pericoronitis on the gums surrounding them once a year. Well worth it to get them taken out - recovery isn't bad at all.

The dentist usually doesn't remove wisdom teeth and has to refer you to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to have it done. So I don't see much reason for a dentist to lie to you about it. I didn't have mine removed when I was younger, only because I couldn't afford it, it was recommended. They popped in when I was 29 and made my entire smile crooked and fucked up. Now I'm full of regrets.

I went to Dena Towning near Lennox and she told me I will only have to take mine out if they start developing cavities (I'm 26). I also liked the people at Delaware Smile Center if you are up north. He was honest with me too.

Every dentist visit I've had in the past decade I've been told I should get my wisdom teeth out. And I tell them every time, the day they cause any problem whatsoever, I'll think about scheduling surgery. Not a minute before.

I'm nearing 30 and have my wisdom teeth - no issues. They were in before I started visiting Murray Hill Dental in Westerville, but they always say there's no need to worry about them if they aren't causing problems. It's completely up to you to make the decision and take on the risk.

Dr Katz in Pickerington. He looked at mine and said three were fine only 1 needed out. It was impacted but he did it himself and I just had oral sedation. It was amazing I hate the dentist but with him I almost look forward to visits

It IS a much more expensive and complicated surgery to remove them if you wait until later in life and they become a problem, but that's your risk to take.

I went through the same thing as mine are functioning as perfectly fine teeth due to having my tooth in the back removed when I was a kid so the wisdoms kind of took their place in a way. With that they said I should have them removed but there's no harm in keeping them until they cause problems (i.e. cavity, etc). Cavities are more common in wisdoms because they're extremely hard to keep clean. So I kept them in there then sure enough 2 years later I had a cavity form in my right side wisdoms, had them yanked out. Shot of novocain and bam, gone. Wasn't bad at all. I was also told by a dentist that even though it's my choice to keep them, the older I get the more chance of complications to form with them that may be serious? I don't know what he meant by that but at this point I had one side pulled because a cavity was forming and am keeping my other side until something goes wrong with them. Again my wisdoms are sort of needed for me to chew properly and stuff so I am not as keen on just having them yanked out without a good reason. Also if you need a good, honest dentist check out schneider family dental. I'll never go anywhere else after seeing them.

I thought the same thing 10 years ago when I was using OSU. They were all in fine, no issues, but they wanted them out ASAP. I decided not to do anything. After being up all this past Saturday night crying in pain, I am having them removed. They are almost impossible to keep clean and due to that cavities will spread fast and deep. Just get them removed.

Hard to give an opinion without seeing an X-ray or patient live. There are some dentists who blanket recommend they all come out as a preventive measure. I'm not a big fan of that approach. If the benefit of removal outweighs the risk it's generally a good idea. Also, I really need to figure out this kickback thing. I've been missing out! (Unless you count a bottle of wine or a box of cookies at Christmas a kickback)

We always loved Dr. Steven England at Central point. He is very patient with children. He is a family dentist. And has a treasure chest for kids to pick a prize from afterwards if they behave.

Addison sees Dr. Mitchell & his assistant Sarah at Grove City Family Dentistry off of Columbus St. They are really good. Monday will be her 3 rd time going. They take there time & make her feel comfortable before they even start to look into her mouth.

We use Hilliard Family Dentistry i n Hilliard. We see Dr. jeu. Office is next to post office. We love them. Larry has been going there for almost 20 years. He did a couple of crowns for me. He makes them on site. No temporary.
