Hi All! Could anyone please recommend any good child-minders in the Hitchin area? With all nurseries having waiting lists, I'm struggling to find appropriate childcare...

The Herts Family Information Service should be able to give you a list if childminders in your area: 0300 123 4052http://m.hertsdirect.org/your-community/fis/

It's not letting me message you as we're not friends. Her name is Jenny Desmond. Don't want to put her details on a public forum. Hhmm...trying to think of a way around it!

I don't think ToadHall have a waiting list due to expanding. Obviously it's personal opinion but I think they're fantastic. My eldest went there and thrived and I've just registered my 7 month old to start 1 st June :) good luck in your search.https://m.facebook.com/GloverHouseNurseryHitchin?_rdr
Recommendation needed. Our lovely doggy day care lady can no longer have our dog Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. Can anyone recommend a local service?

Anyone taken a 3 year old skiing?
Where did you go and what lessons/ kindergarten did they have for them? Don't want child care.
Looking for suggestions please

Glad you don't want child care. My parents took me to Ski Windom in upstate New York when I was about 3; stuck me in child care run by merciless hags who wouldn't give me a second helping of mac 'n cheese upon request even though I could see there was plenty leftover in the pot and all the other kids were clearly full. Have had an irrational craving for the stuff ever since.
