The bridle itself looks ok, but the bit looks as though it may be too long - in the second pic there seems to be quite a bit of length coming out of the mouth between the lip and the bit ring. Obviously can't see if it has a single joint, but if so, and your horse is putting his tongue over the bit, a single joint bit that is too large will make it comparatively easy for him to keep doing so, as it can create a deep 'V' inside his mouth leaving more tongue wiggle room.
