Ken Green is our local go to hands . Dennis Reddan will be over from mainland and in our area Sunday . He is massage therapist . Korena Armstrong is coordinating his run I believe? Also Evelyn Brereton is in training with massage therapy, yet already highly recommended by people and horses all over the state . She is from south and is planning a trip north early next week . It may fit in with her schedule .

Shows one example where something works. Rests case. Sarcasm and silliness aside, Check out the SBL website, barefooters.org for articles and ask other questions here. I would also recommend the barefootedness that Barefoot Mick Lessard recommends,as ff are caused by bad muscles.

Dimity H. replied:
Steph Brouder is fantastic but to me it seems you are not still treating the problem ... Building up stronger muscles in the horses back and hind will stop them dis uniting and make them stronger jumping. I would add a course of Zanobolic to your horses feed and not canter or jump for a month. Zanobolic will encourage muscle growth and the difference is noticeable in a couple of weeks. Best fed after excerise but not absolutely required. Light work walking and trotting is all that's needed to heal the old tears. Going to some lessons with someone who teaches you to ride your horse from the hind quarters and not using your hands will also help in building correct muscle over his back.

Looking for a horse chiropractor? Who is about and how much do they charge? :)
Bryanna Bonney
Mel C. replied:
Ian northeast. Fred Johnson and john harland all mainland based. Ken Green, whom is Tassies own. unfortunately ken is out of action atm.
Lesley J. replied:
John Harland makes regular trips to Tas - or he used to. Not a chiro as such (you can't really do that with a horse anyway) but does excellent muscle release and range of movement stretching and so on. Our stallion had been carrying an injury for 2 years when we acquired him - John sorted him out, allowing him to perform high level dressage movements.
Rachel B. replied:
Thanks guys!! Bryanna Bonney there ya go
Mel C. replied:
Inbox Kerry-ann Crlik for Fred
Sarah M. replied:
Highly recommend Ian Northeast. He's back in the south June 17 and north June 18 and 19 I believe.
Do you need a referral from a doctor to see a chiropractor?
Bianca M. replied:
Hayley-maree Griffiths surgery? Geez. Why is that?
Keshia W. replied:
Scott Springer in Burnie. Heard great things about him, actually taking Byron there on Wednesday. A chiropractor is an alternative form of treatment, a lot of medical professions will tell you it does nothing but each to their own. I used to see one regularly after having Charlie and found it helped.:)
Anyone know of a good chiropractor for my horse it seams like his back hip is out as he is walking funny I have never been through this b4 so I don't know but I want one...
