Nora Martínez DeBenedetto I don't think graphic designers are in demand but rather someone with the ability, knowledge and computer program to create the cute and personalized stationary items (banners, cupcake toppers, food signs, favor labels, invitations, etc) that are available on Etsy. (There's a reason why Etsy is thriving.) Since Jessie Kaye is a graphic designer she has the ability, knowledge and computer program necessary to create a few cute stationary items for my son's 1 st birthday that I was unable to do on my own. I was thrilled to be able to use and support a local Hoboken resident and be able to meet with her in person to customize a few unique items rather then ordering from a complete stranger on Etsy and having to communicate via email. Also, I was giving my personal experience working with Jessie Kaye, which happened to be for my son's 1 st birthday, but customized stationary items could easily be for a wedding shower, wedding, baby shower, birthday parties, anniversary parties, etc. So if you have the ability, knowledge and the computer program (doesn't mean you have to be a graphic designer) to create those customized and unique stationary items that so many people sell on Etsy, then I would say yes there is a demand for that:)
