Once I adopted a St. Bernard young dog that already had many serious issues hidden by the dishonest staff@BideAWee W. Hampton. One of the problems he had was grabbing/eating EVERYTHING, LOTS of ACORNS & his own poop (even during walks this guy stopped & grabbed the acorns!). I researched what may be the cause of this & Simon may have a nutritional disorder that can be cured by a change in his diet. Something might be missing in the diet & this may save you a lot of $$. It's worth a shot. Good luck! Also: My dog was re-adopted by someone w/plenty of experience with the breed. I provided to the excellent trainer@Bide-a-wee after he left The Hamptons location) all the info. needed to successfully rehab this dog. My $$ should have been returned to offset some of the physical damage but nothing could make up for the broken heart this caused at the time.
