Podiatrist recommendations? Who would you recommend and why (how is their bedside manor? Approaches before surgery? I do not want a surgery happy doctor) ?
Specifically...
Lauren L. replied:
Dr. Carrozza is my favorite! He's right by kenwood liquors.
Cindy B. replied:
I would definitely recommend Dr. Krygsheld in Orland Park. Great bedside manner and office staff. Does not rush you into surgery, but does a great job if you do need it. I needed two screws in my foot...no lingering problems and you can hardly see the scar.
Lisa K. replied:
Dr Ratcovitch at Parkview Orthopedics is great!! He's right by Silver Cross hospital. Or, Dr Vitori in Homer Glen is great too!!
Jan G. replied:
Dr. Carozza retired. Dr. Kirschner took over his practice. I just went to him last week. I thought he was great, fixed my problem! Good personality and he didn't push extra procedures. Same phone number
Jen F. replied:
I went to Dr. Kathleen Mathes. I did not have surgery, but she diagnosed my plantar fasciitis (and a bone spur). She is pleasant and she listened to what I had to say. She has 2 offices Homer Glen and Burbank, so her time is split between the two.
Judy O. replied:
I've gone to Dr. Cynthia Sink-Jedloe D.P.M. and have been very happy with her
Richard R. replied:
I would recommend Dr. Holmes of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, who is a certified foot/ankle surgeon and reknown as one of the best in the country. He is also very upbeat and friendly. If this is for a bunion (hallux valgus), I would see no one else. https://youtu.be/BiVEg6CsgEY
Virginia C. replied:
Dr Vittori in Homer Glen. Very nice. Direct. Haven't had surgery done by him though
ISO Podiatrist that will do house calls for Homebound mother. Thank you!
Denise S. replied:
Maybe check w/Palos Community Hospital or Silver Cross to ask about their home health care options.. they could perhaps direct you to some podiatrists who make housecalls.
Gerri W. replied:
Dr. Tillman in Orland Park. If interested I will look up his number. He used to go to my parent's house.
