Keight Brown I currently work as a teacher at Happy Bear Daycare Learning Center in Hooksett and we provide excellent childcare 5 days a week from 7 am to 5 pm http://www.happybeardaycarelearningcenter.com
Finding a daycare was a fail. Were looking for good recommendations for childcare/sitter from 8-11 in the morning, starting in august. Near the hooksett area!

Depending on what you get for suggestions, you could try care.com or sittercity.com. I have hired most of my sitters that way. They do a security check and you would obviously call references. You could also see if there is a "Moms of Manchester/ Ho oksett" group on facebook as that is another way I have gotten sitters :) . Good luck and welcome to the world of childcare planning (sometimes it feels like a part-time job in itself)!

From what my daughters tell me, that have kids, there is no such thing.

Define "affordable"? Good daycare is just expensive - not really any getting around it. We put two kids through [Applewood Learning Center](http://www.applewoodlc.org/) and we liked it, didn't think it was cheap, and our kids were well prepared for 1 st grade when they got there. It is right at exit 4 off of I-93. Nice new Hannafords right behind it which is suprisingly convenient.

Some gyms have child care while you're exercising, a YMCA might have a good deal, or you could start a daycare co-op with some other parents.

Many years ago, for my Fred, we used Best Friends in Nashua. Actually they're just past the Nashua line in MA. It's a chain and their standards are very high. We found them after searching a long time. They were good. My rule to do a reality check for kennels or daycare places, to see how they really treat your family member vs what they want you to believe, is to go unannounced, and ask to go in the back to see the dogs... If they say come on over, they've likely got nothing to hide. If they start making excuses or don't let you go, I am better off not patronizing that place... Has worked for me

Barking Dog in Hooksett: Many years ago we went to pick up our dog after Labor Day weekend. It was the first time we had boarded. I went in to pick up my boy and there was no one at front desk. I rang the bell and no one came. So, I took it upon myself to walk in the back and look for help. .....I could have taken any dog and left and they would have no idea I was even there! The one and only staff was busy washing floor and did not hear me....further more, my dog got kennel cough and it stunk of piss.

We use barking dog for daycare and a small at home boarding business for boarding. Barking Dog daycare always is well staffed wen we drop off and pick up anytime of the day. Our pups love them and they all know their names.
