OK rant. I can't stand, sleep or walk without extreme lower back pain. PCP ordered X-ray and she saw something that caused me to need MRI for $550. I have been in pain...
Michelle S. replied:
Hadn't seen this when I tried calling. I like Dr Grinder too if that's what will help you. A lot of great advice has been given. Personally, I'd ask for blood tests to check if you do have RA or anything immunology speaking. Something is going on som ewhere. ...have they done a urine test or talked about checking your spinal fluid? My cousin's wife had meningitis that presented very differently than "normal" including severe pain. So sorry and praying for you! Love you bunches too!
HarryandRenee R. replied:
Same here Natalie! I see Dr Falck and Dr Kaur at the CHI St Vincent clinic and Rheumatology behing the hospital in HS. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Amy Falck (family dr). I know she is still taking new patients and they take the obama care junk too!
Minnette S. replied:
Dr. Harshfield is the best in his field, Radiologist. I've had numerous MRIs done. the imaging center in Little Rock very reasonable priced $300.- depending on the kind of MRI you need. Kurt Larson Cyro is a great source as well here in town, has helped me immensely with my pain and has a 24 hour guarantee policy for his treatments. Feel free to call me chat anytime (01-762-0099
Peggy S. replied:
Natalie Caldwell , My recommendation, Legacy Neurology, Dr Schlesinger in Little Rock 501-661-0077
Delilah R. replied:
I know how you feel it is not an easy pain to deal with. My MRI showed a buldging disk so I was referred to Dr. Arthur who wanted to operate and I have family members disabled from his surgeries right now. I went to Dr. Boos who is awesome and got a n epidural and then lots of steroids from my PCP but I think the Epidural did it and it just took time but I have no pain today!!! It was a long two mths but it kept getting better and better. Good luck!
Connie P. replied:
Scott Schlesinger is the Dr that removed my brain tumor in 05 and guided me to the best Dr for my hip replacement after seeing several Dr in HS.He sent me to the Drs at Ortho Ar and it was all about the way they took the X-ray.Great Dr!
Kathy M. replied:
Natalie .....I know how you feel having unexplained pain and everyone wanting you to have "pain management". I wanted to know what was causing the pain before I treated it. I have had migraines for years. But I started having some severe muscle spas ms and joint swelling. Everyone here looked at me and shrugged their shoulders. I went through a doctors list for our insurance and chose my own dr. I use Dr. Silpa Miram at St Vincent Midtown in Little Rock. She got me in to see a rheumatologist within a week of seeing her. She diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and an undetermined arthritis. I also see a neurologist in Little Rock. I currently only take mecs to control my migraines and a hormone pill. I am taking a vitamin regimen that I chose on my own and I make drinks from recipes that came with my Nutribullet that my husband bought me for Christmas. I am not "healed".....but I do feel better not taking the prescriptions that everyone loads you up with for "pain management". Keep trying until you get a better answer.....(sorry this is so long)

You can try Hollywood avenue family clinic. Dr Parrott and Dr Anderson are there.

Dr Al DaDah takes my BCBS. She shares a building with 4 internal med docs, but she is an MD. If you are a new patient she's usually booked about 2 weeks out. I think I saw u at the auction on Airport Rd today:) Good luck!

what is your take on Dr. Navarro at Mercy West?

Brenda L. replied:
Dr. Puen is a kind and gentle man. He is a good doctor. He does not get much credit around this town, but I know he is good. He will see you! He does take most insurances.
Tina B. replied:
I use Dr. Navarro at Mercy West, but I don't know what her new patient status is. They do take BCBS, though i'd imagine most of them do. She's not the best doctor i've ever had, but she gets the job done.
Renee B. replied:
Dr.Amy Fitzgerald, Mercy Clinic on Airport. They take BCBS

Hello Everyone! I am in need of some RECOMENDATIONS and advice :)
I have a torn ACL and am planning on getting surgery early in 2016. As this is important, I'm trying...
Letha S. replied:
I used Chris Young for my knee surgery. Great doctor with great communication!! My dad also used him for several surgeries. You will hear good and bad with every doctor. I am a nurse, so I did my research too, and talk to nurses, they usually see more than most. Also Dr Kaler is an awesome surgeon also, he is usually more general, Dr Young is Ortho. Hope it helps, good luck and fast healing!
Grace W. replied:
^^Agree with Chris Young. I am having rotator cuff repair (Dr. Cari Cordell) in January. I asked her to recommend a surgeon for a friend who has a bad ankle break. Doc Cari said Chris Young is really good.
Kasey M. replied:
Dr. Young is great.
Jeanne C. replied:
I worked in Rehab for almost 20 yrs I saw a lot of surgerical pts come, hips, knees, shoulders etc. I also had both knee replacements by Dr Lawrence Dodd. That would be my recommendations!! He has the less infection overall than any Ortho Drs that I have seen in 20 yrs.
Melanie D. replied:
Dr Birk is awesome! Very good bedside manners.
Lacy H. replied:
Dr. Young or Dr. Dodd are both great.
Kimberly S. replied:

Regine S. replied:
Howdy everyone! I ended up using Gordon Birk in hot springs. Got first appointment fast, then in for surgery in less than a month. In physical therapy and feeling very sturdy ! Enjoyed it as much as one can enjoy surgery lol
Debbie C. replied:
Chris Young.
Mark T. replied:
Dr. Gordon in little rock. He is very good. He is in the dr. Building beside target. He did my wife's knee 2 yrs ago, and it healed back very strong. She just had an mri done on the same knee for her MCL and they said the ACL was perfect. Whichever way you go, hope it goes well!!
Melissa N. replied:
I have had a torn acl since March and opted not to have surgery and mine is healing itself. With that said, Chris Young is the.Dr I am dealing with and without hesitation would use him. I checked him out prior to my first visit and was very pleased with him. He is straightforward, honest and not just trying to rack up money for himself by suggesting surgery that may not be needed. Praying for your quick and complete healing.
Ruby D. replied:

Jennifer L. replied:
Dr. Young he did surgery on my wrist when I broke it and he did knee replacement on my granny great bedside manner
