First of all, any help you can provide will be much appreciated. Thank you for the hard work you're willing to do. Secondly, with no offense intended, the way you worded this makes it sound like you are looking for paying jobs and in a time of crisis that statement sounds more like profiteering rather than an actual offer for help. What you're looking for is understandable, but try to be a bit more careful how you word it. It leaves a sour taste in people's mouths if you claim that you just want to help, but are really looking for construction/carpentry job opportunities amongst the chaos. If I've misunderstood, I apologize. Either way, I hope you can find good work that helps people rebuild their lives as you build yours here too. Welcome to Texas, and best of luck to you!

Go to Katy, TX. It's just West of Houston on I10. That is where a lot of emergency workers, volunteers, and national guard are staging. There are places to sleep and get food and medical attention. Depending on where you are, there may be another staging area North/East/South of Houston. I'm familiar with Katy' s staging area as those first responders from central Texas have been staging there. My information is about 3 days old, but I know there is still a large presence there.
I see some of you mentioning Petoskey MI. Would you recommend that as a good summer spot for maybe July/August RV summering place to go? Looking for a good RV park type...

Great place. KOA is a beauty too there, although I know a little pricey. Make sure to go to Legs Inn also for dinner!

Lots of nice parks and RV Resorts along the West side of Michigan. As stated best to make reservations. Busy place in the summer. Ludington has Ponch's Pond Resort and Traverse City has Traverse Bay Resort plus state parks and smaller campgrounds. Just depends on what you want.
