Hello everyone!
I would like you to recommend me a muay thai gym in Hua Hin. I am just the beginner. I have read the Por Promin is the best. Is that true?
I will stay in...

Back Pain
Been to the Physio Clinic a few times in Soi 94 they say I have disc problem in my lower back and to go for scan.
Anyone know the best place and not too...
Dale P. replied:
There is a good Physio at Bangkok Hospital. Best to try strengthening exercises in the Pool before listening to the medical profession's bullshit
Maureen O. replied:
Go to Hua Hin Hospital, pay TB200/300 to be fast tracked. It's the cheapest place if you really do need a scan
Maureen O. replied:
Me neither...Chiang Mai or Bangkok but not here. Although there is supposed to be a very good back doctor at HH Hospital but I personally haven't tried him
Chris B. replied:
Thanks I try more stretching for the next week then go to Hua Hin hospital for a scan I had 6 treatments at the Physio Clinic 94 they said it's not improving have a scan to check for disc issue I let you all know later thanks for your feedback
Maureen O. replied:
I agree with Frank...sometimes structural problems are harder to resolve and surgery is the only answer. And yes, certainly do your research. The Spine Centre at BNH is excellent and extremely conservative about suggesting surgery. Unfortunately, HH doesn't have a lot of choices. Also, the Hip and Knee clinic at BK Hospital Bangkok is excellent. But I wouldn't do anything surgically here. Then again, I have been told by different people about friends who have had hip replacement at HH Hospital and who are very pleased with the results. But the other hospitals here, well....

Frank T. replied:
I went for an MRI scan of my lower back to Chulalongkorn (state) hospital in BKK. That costed me 8000 Thb. Just to give you an idea about the price... I guess Hua Hin hospital will be around the same...

Is there a gym in Hua Hin with air-con that is less pricey than Aletic? I already know about the Sport Villa option. Perhaps there are a couple of other options?

BP H. replied:
Willem Verpoest Aha, but my inquiry specifically regards gyms other than Aletic, as you can see. One more time for your convenience: I am looking for gyms that are not Aletic.
BP H. replied:
Juha Kalenius There are probably more places here with air-con than that. Of course, some of the hotels might have gyms but I suppose they are not accessible for the public. There could be other private gyms too. I just don't know about them.
Can anybody recommend and good Muay Thai and a weight lifting gym?
Tom M. replied:
Amazing Muay Thai soi 102 has both
Porpromin K. replied:
Might be a bit late on this thread as had to await being approved membership to the group first before I could comment... We do offer great Muay Thai training at Por Promin, you're welcome to come and give us a try or check out our website www.porprominmuaythai.com or feel free to contact us with any questions! We have a few weights, I wouldn't say we are a weight lifting gym, but just around the corner there is Somorprong fitness that is specifically a weight lifting and fitness gym, many of our customers add weights to their fitness routine here and very cheap and reasonable rates they have too! Best of luck and enjoy wherever you decide to go! :)
Moving to Hua Hin early next year.
