I'm sorry, can't remember her name; but our allergist is one of the best pediatric allergists in the State and he recommended them. Here is his info - maybe if you call the office can recommend them to you? I will keep searching for her name in my records...http://www.allergytampa.com/PhysiciansStaff/MarkCGlaumMDPhD/tabid/12203/Default.aspx

We've seen Dr. Vasiloudes at http://www.tampadermatology.com/dermatology-staff.php. Very well qualified (board certified in Pediatrics and Dermatology) and easy to talk to. Bit of a drive (down in Tampa) but worth it to me.

Can anyone recommend a dermatologist for mole removal? I am extremely nervous about the idea, but have had a mole on my face since I was around 7 and would love to get...

Dr. Swerdloff from Bay Dermatology is great! I have had 4 cancerous spots removed from him. He is a plastic surgeon. Do not go to just the dermatologist especially if it is on your face. The Dermatologist is strictly there to remove it and provide you with information about the mole. The plastic surgeon will be precise in removing it and they use special stitching that does not stay in long and leave you with track marks. To be sure that it's covered under insurance you want to go in as if you are concerned about it's size and shape and not for cosmetic reasons. Good luck to you;)
Debi S. replied:
I agree with the others who have posted their suggestion of seeking a plastic surgeon when the face is involved. In saying that, I also would recommend Jonathan Morgan, MD @ Ears, Nose and Throat Associates (ENTA). Although I do not work within the Facial Aestethics Department, I must include that I have worked for ENTA for 8 years in the Port Richey Office as an immunology nurse. However, not only have I seen numerous and beautiful end results of Dr. Morgan's plastic's work, I personally have had several laser sessions on my face to remove the numerous sun damage spots that had formed over the years. He too offers free consultations for your first visit. Give me a call at the office and I will be happy to discuss with you in further details 727-819-0368 ext. 1450.

Not sure about having a mole removed on your face, but Bay Dermatology is good. I have used the office in Pinellas County off of East Bay and currently use the office in Tampa.
