I have been seeing Philip O'Carroll at Newport Neurology in Newport for the past 5 years. I don't see him very often, but I see his PA often and I love her.

Dr. Oropilla saved my life!! She's at Kaiser hospital in Anaheim.

Dr Jean Lake, Long Beach Memorial. She's a pro's pro. Has been handling my daughter's case for two years and we are extremely satisfied. She books up for months in advance, but well worth it, imo.

Internal Med Dr. Armyn Carbonell is great! Tel#559-437-7300. Shes located on Herndon. Best part is her grouo is big, if you cant get an appt with her same day, you can walk into her Urgent Care, its located in the same building.

I just recently had neurosurgery with Dr Alexander Taghva. He is regarded as one of the top neurosurgeons by his peers. Comes highly recommended by several Dr’s and nurses who are friends. He is who they would go see. Ultimately it depends on your insurance and what your medical situation is. No matter who you choose, never just go by a recommendation from a stranger on a forum, including me. Do your research because you have to be your own medical advocate nowadays. Also if you have to have any sort of neurosurgery make sure it is only done at Mission Hospital. They just built an amazing new neurosurgical unit that was designed by the doctors who use it. I have had over 20 surgeries since 2006 at some of the top hospitals, nothing compares to Mission’s surgical unit...
