Looking for an arthritis dietitian that can help me with an anti inflammatory way of eating, and doesn't cost a fortune. Thank you.
Tim M. replied:
Look up Wheat Belly on Facebook. Also on YouTube there's great info on foods that cause inflammation, such as dairy products
Lori P. replied:
I would recommend trying Whole30. There is a lot of information online about it and there is a facebook page as well with different recepies to try. I have done this diet myself. It's tough and you have to meal prep, however, I did order a lot of my meals from modelmeals.com . They cook and prep the meals for you and all you do is heat them. All of thier meals are organic and Whole30 approved. The meals are not cheap but then again eating healthy is not cheap. I felt really good on this diet and felt more energy after the first initial 2 weeks of it.

Dr. Madokoro, he is an excellent GI doctor. About 8 years ago his hunch to add an endoscopy to my "I'm 50" colonoscopy probably saved my life.

I am a nurse, and I had ulcerative colitis. I recommend my dr, dr. George Moro. He is in Orange and has privledges at st. Joe's in Orange and Hoag. He is fantastic! Or see Dr. Aaron Abrahms that's in Newport Beach. Dr. Abrahms covered for Dr. Moro when he was off for a few days. Both great GI dr's. PM me if you need more info.

I had similar issues and was diagnosed with severe GERDS. Gastrointestinal Reflux Disorder. It was mis- diagnosed for over 15 years until I went to my current Dr. Her name is Nalha Salem and she is in the medical bldg next to the HB hospital. Her office staff is very nice. She takes all types of insurance I believe, I was on MSI when I was first diagnosed. She is just a regular internist but was the only dr. that figured it out after 2 hospital stays.
Mark S. replied:
Dr. Duke Nguyen. 714 378 7390. On Talbert Ave. Phenomenal. Literally saved my life five years ago, when other physicians made an error in diagnosis. Very dedicated physician with awesome bedside manner.
Laura M. replied:
Dr Duke Nguyen is A+

I see Dr Najarian with St Joseph and he's great. It looks like Bethany goes to the same office.
Lindsay S. replied:
Yeah it was a DO at AltaMed on Beach that finally diagnosed me with Celiac disease after many years of suffering and being ignored by doctors. His name is Dong Trang. Didn't have a ton of time to talk to me, but listened more than any other doctor I've had.
