Surf City Pediatrics!! We love Dr. Pepek so much. We've actually seen all of the doctors and the nurse practitioner in the office and love all of them. The office staff is very caring and it's easy getting same day appointments when my boys get sick. They're located on Beach next to HB Hospital. The office number is 714-842-0444.

I like Coastal kids in Newport. We go to Dr Baron, she's amazing. We also go to Newport Children's Dentist in Newport, right across the street from Coastal kids. Also amazing, especially for my shy kiddo. I've heard Dr Johnson in Huntington Harbor is good for a normal dentist, that's where we're going next month.

Dr Richard Mungo is the most wonderful pediatric dentist. My kids have almost all outgrown his practice now, but they never wanted to leave. Dr Pauline Pepek is a great pediatrician, at surf city pediatrics:)

Dr Bennett was so awesome with me prolonging and spacing my son's shots, as long as they got done she didn't care. I said pick whatever 2 are most important each visit and they were cool...she's so nice and sweet, heck we even had a political chat once lol. Very friendly and personable.

Dr Zachariah Reda was my son'a pediatrician. They're fabulous. In Newport Beach- on Avocado. I think they might have an office in HB now. They're stellar physicians!! Took great care of my baby boy.

Dr. Moretta is my dentist. He is very thorough, honestly caring person and great with anxiety/ dentist fears. Everyone I've sent there has loved him. His staff is pretty great also

Eine Medical Group, Dr. Harry Pellman. I nursed both my girls for 2 years each. He was not only super supportive, but tried to convince me to nurse for 3 years for the health benefits to my little ones. Office staff is great, even though it's a fairly large practice. They are supportive, friendly, professional and respond to all concerns in a timely manner. Always very positive experiences with them. Nurse on, Mama!:-)

Dr Steve Schumm, DDS he has been our dentist since '81. We love him. He is a great open minded human and a stellar dentist.

Also GP Dr Burnbeck, Sabine. At Beach Physicians on Adams. She is from Europe, can tell her anything, not a big "medicate it" dr. Which I like.

Love Dr Birkhauser at Hoag so far. She's been great in a difficult situation (two parents with opposing medical views - not my husband and I! ;) )

Surf city pediatrics is the best! I'm 19 and have gone there for 10 years and still go see Dr. Bennett. The whole staff there makes you feel comfortable and most of the nurses have been there for as long as I've been going there. They are on beach and Newman by the hospital!

Dr Richard P Mungo dds for pediatric dentistry in hb was my go too when my kids were young. He is without a doubt the best around, both my older kids had many many issues and he handled them all without even a blink, my oldest son knocked his front teeth out on almost a monthly basis and his teeth are perfect now. They both cried the day they found out they were too old too continue with him. Appts are hard too get but worth the effort

Dentist - try Dr. Maryann Young on Beach. She is amazing with adults and kids and us crazy old people.

My daughter sees Beanca Chu, DDS. Hands down the best pedodontist in HB. She's at atlanta and brookhurst. Our family GP is Sabine Bernbeck at Beach Family Doctors on Adams, by Magnolia. Every physician we have seen has been great.

Do not go to a mall. Tattoo shop who does high quality piercings. We provided earings designed for infants and Tic did the piercing at HB Tattoo but he's not there anymore. We had no issues at all.

Not in HB but we just had them done in November at Barbella Studios in Costa Mesa. An absolutely perfect experience. They walked my 11 year old through it, helped her get over her fear, and were all around awesome. They are perfectly placed and have healed perfectly.

When I was on Med-ca with my first kidl, we used Dr. Oca right by the Fountain Valley Hospital. She's female, a little older. I still use her now and my kids are 12 and 14. I believe she still accepts Medi-cal.

We have never been to FV hospital other than a surgery my son had for tubes and adenoids removal and we had a great experience...every nurse was nice and caring and our doctor who we knew was awesome! !! It was a scary experience that we felt comfortable going through thanks to the staff..I am sorry you had a bad experience Sandra Amigliore...you know if you truly have a case the lawyers will not charge you anything up front..their fee will be taken from your settlement. .but be careful the lawyers are the ones you need to be afraid of. Lol

FV Hospital is HORRIBLE! Took my Mom in she had a heart attack. They helped her for one day then took her off all med's and basically let her die. I didn't know at the time what they had done until after I learned they stopped giving her Nitro. They had the nerve to harass me to no end wanting to be paid. I told them, you bring her back to life I"m sure she'd be more than happy to pay you. They never called again. I had my son there also, nurses are incompetent! I go to OC Memorial now, happy there.

Dr. Julie Segal-Fallon on warner in between brookhurst and euclid. Talbert medical group, I believe. Nice facility, nice environment. She's Excellent. Super attentive. Listens to your every concern. She has been my son's doctor since he was about 7. He's 14 now

The only hospital I avoid is HB Hospital. Wouldn't send my dead dog there. Billing especially is a nightmare.

I agree, FV hospital is awful. My daughter was in the NICU after I had her, no one told me all the issues she had. There was obviously no communication, because every nurse told me something different. It wasn't until her first pediatric visit that i finally got the full report. Ridiculous. Not to mention, I work with someone who is currently suing three doctors there because they basically waited around for her son to die, and when he didn't, it was too late, and now he needs around the clock help with every thing.

A bit out of the way if you are not on the Brookhurst side.... but Dr. Bette Carlson, on Fairview and Baker in Costa Mesa is freaking Amazing. We just switched insurance too, and are paying a premium just to stay with her. Incredible and a great office, Hoag Affiliate.

I know it's not long beach but in HB dr. Chang and dr. Pepek are two wonderful pediatricians. I went to them from birth until I was too old at 19. The nurse Florence is wonderful at giving shots and everyone is very kind there. I wouldn't have gone to them for so many years and always made sure I had insurance that covered them and even when I didn't still chose them over changing doctors.
