Well I'm partial because my husband works at Port City Tattoo in Long Beach and they actually multiple times have won the best tattoo parlor in Orange County. But if you're looking to stay in Huntington Beach then in my opinion you can't beat the guys at The Tattoo Gallery. They do great work and are great humans.

While the whole community loves hek and he's a great artist, you should def check out others too. He would encourage you to do so as well...I go to gold rush in Costa Mesa. For black and grey or portraits Joel Bones is a master. Traditional try Lindsey Carmichael or Brynn Palmer. Arlene salinas is also really good and might do the light ink thing you like...

Good call. I took my daughter to Electric Chair when she was 9 (we happened to be walking around downtown that day) and she was super intimidated by the whole environment. We ended up going to Claire's at the Westminster Mall. Not very professional, but a lot more welcoming to a 9-year old.

My daughter had her ears pierced at Merle Norman. I told them she had a nickel allergy. They assured me the earring were nickel free by the morning she ears were badly inflamed. I then took her to Tommy T's. We saw Lucy, she was so incredibly patient and wonderful with my 8 year old daughter. It was such a positive experience. Tommy T's looks like an nice jewelry store. You could go and speak with Lucy before you take your granddaughter there. I highly recommend Tommy T's.
