Josh Webb is the best I've ever met. He isn't the cheapest but does the job right the first time so you don't have to call him back to fix something he cut a corner on. PM for phone number.

I think your looking closer to 5-6 dollars a square foot for a good tile job, maybe even more.

My friend at suffolktileworks.com is someone I trust to give me an honest estimate. He and I tiled my kitchen backsplash together in Huntington. Costs really range on the price of the tile and the complexity of the work.

I just want to throw this out there... Make sure they include the cost of leveling the floor in the estimate. They almost definitely will need to do this and they almost never include it in the estimate.
