Nancy...you're thinking of the building at the top of the mtn that was called The Sugar Plum...then it was several things after that..The one they are talking about is now the parking lot of First Methodist Church I believe...or next to it one.

Debbie McCoy, she made my wedding cake and mints in 1969. They were delicious back in the day when everything was simpler and less expensive and receptions were in the church basement.

Ding Dong, Born at the old hospital and lived in the old Gingerbread House next to my dads gas station till I was 2. I've got pictures of me in foot high snow in the front yard in 1963. I was just toddling at the time. The snow was almost as tall as me.

The Shelley family lived across the street from me on Hill Street in the 50's. I was friends with Linda Shelley. We used to roller skate together all over the street and up and down Mr. & Mrs. Crain's driveway. Mr. Shelley used to bring home the day old donuts and frequently gave some to our family.
