There’s a weird ‘bookshop’ nearing the traffic island at the bottom of Nasr Street in Dahar. It’s on your right hand site, next to a shop called Oriflavon, just before the right hand turn to the touristic soukh area and just before the National Bank of Egypt. I do not know if it’s still operating. Try your luck with the telephone number displayed on the window.

The Purrfect Cuppa in El Kawser sell used books in several languages at 5 le per book. All money raised goes to Blue Moon animal rescue. Blue Moon also have a large selection of books in European languages. Some coffee shops have books for sale, Woods usually does and Retro Bar has a lot, I think they are for exchange though.
