Next to oils, the questions I get asked most from new and expecting moms are about vaccines. I cannot recommend this class enough. It taught me so much from a research...

Great, Alicia ! Definitely try and bring your hubs. It's hard to come back and relay all of the information. It's $5/person RSVP to 817.428.9595
Chad A. replied:
lol, what? long term immunity is due to your exposure to antigens causing you to develop memory cells that can then immediately respond to a reoccurring antigen. Also, your immune system will respond to a virus the same regardless of how its contracted . whether it's mucus membrane, intravenously, intramuscular, etc. It actually is far easier for your kids body to develop antibodies for the virus because with an attenuated or dead virus, all your body has to do is recognize it as foreign, go through colonal replication, and start pumping out antibodies/memory cells/etc. whereas, if it contracted a live virus, the virus is now lysising your child's cells to replicate, making it work harder to make sure your child doesn't die/become chronically ill AND THEN creating antibodies. And unfortunately many kids with major diseases can't fight off that virus, and bam, your kid dies because you wanted him to "naturally" vaccinate himself. And what could of prevented that? a simple shot that does a MORE EFFICIENT JOB at creating antibodies than risking harm on your child for it. Also, as far as the fetal cells, animal cells, etc in vaccines, i hate to tell you this, but ALOT OF MEDICINE has those things. You think they would get away with putting garbage in them unregulated? wrong, those are fetal cells most likely from a cord, or placenta, animal cells which were probably used to mutate viral purpose or for growth, and I haven't seen anything about heavy metals exceeding EPA recommendations, but I'd love to see a scholarly source on it. Also, Yes some diseases are eradicated because of sanitation standards and etc, but that's irrelevant for the other viruses/bacteria that thrive even in the developed world, that's comparing apples and oranges. And why wouldn't I take a woman who has dedicated her life to research and development on DISEASE as far more factual and knowledgeable than a out-dated/ill-informed pediatrician/ill-informed parent?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwMYpTYsNZM this is a wonderful video explaining humoral and Cell-mediated immunity just to clear up your idea of what happens during the 2 nd/3 rd stage of immune response.
Chad A. replied:
Also, just to clarify if any of yall genuinely didn't know, this event claims to be unbaised, but highlights "Dr. JB" in a credible and supportive way. I googled Dr. JB and vaccines, and the only two Dr. JB's that popped up were both HIGHLY anti-vaccin ations, both of which are basing their reasoning off of already disproved theories and outdated sensationalized information. So for those thinking you were going to an actual unbaised objective event, prepare to be brainwashed by pseudo-science and extremely skewed "facts".
Cynthia H. replied:
Chad, without attending the class you can't speak to what is taught at the class. Your research definitely sounds biased. Dr. JB advocates parents making a choice for their children, and in order to do so they have to know how to read the research. We respect your right to choose for your family what you feel is best. Everyone's genetics are different, and this affects how they will respond to a vaccine so a blanket protocol/schedule for everyone isn't always the right fit.
