Through your GP or nurse you can get referred to a Healthy Living organization, covering obesity, smoking, diabetes etc and then onto the Hyde Leisure Centre especially for people overweight

Active Tameside are great. A membership with them gives You access to all of their gyms in Tameside. You can use I-train in Dukinfield, Hyde baths has an active gym, Hattersley and Ashton too.
